What
is PAMS?
The Peoria
Area Miniature Society, also
known as P.A.M.S., is a group
of miniature enthusiasts who gather
monthly
to share their love of miniatures.
We meet
the first Thursday of each month, from 7-9 p.m., at the American Legion
Hall in Bartonville, Illinois. All meetings, except July and
December,
are open to guests interested in miniatures.
At our meetings
we first take care of any business, then we get down to the fun
part.
We have a mini workshop each meeting. The cost of the workshops
usually
is under two dollars. The work shops are given by a member and
can
be completed in an hour or so. The workshops gives us a chance to
learn new techniques, catch up on what has happened since the last
meeting,
and solve everybody's mini problems. It cost less than a shrink,
and a lot more fun.
Don't think
this is just for little old ladies, our club is open to everyone, young
and old, male and female. Whether you are just starting out
in miniatures, or have been collecting for years, you are welcome to
attend
our meetings.
