Description of project:  Participants will upholster a pre-assembled
wing chair cut from basswood except the arms and seat cushion, which are
of balsa wood for ease in making adjustments for a specific chair's
upholstery.  Houseworks cabriole legs will be sanded and pre-stained.
Design for the wing chair, cutting, and assembly by Marti Winzeler.

    Supplies needed:
      x-acto knife with a new blade and cutting mat
      sandpaper, emery  board
      small paper scissor 
      small fabric scissor
      tacky glue
      9" x 18" fabric (Bring more if you  will need to match  fabric
pattern .  If planning to upholster two chairs, I advise  bringing 1/3
yard) 
        
           Note:There will be some fabric available at the workshop to
choose from but if you want a specific color or pattern for the decor  of your mini room,T
 I suggest you bring your own fabric.   A lightweight, tightly woven cotton or silk works best.  
All other supplies will be  provided.
